The N Rate Calculator is a web tool that allows the user to use fertilizer price and expected corn price to choose a more profitable corn nitrogen rate when corn price is low and/or nitrogen prices are high. Our current dataset can be used to predict a profitable nitrogen rate for productive non-irrigated fields that average 150-175 bushels and for irrigated corn fields.
