Pear soil nutrient recommendations table
  1. Apply one ounce of actual N per year of tree age or per inch of trunk diameter. Adjust this rate according to growth produced the previous year. Trees should make 12 to 16 inches of terminal Do not increase N rates after trees reach 15 years of age.
