Brambles (Raspberry, Blackberries, Dewberries)

  1. At establishment in the fall, and then each year when first blooms appear, evenly spread 1.5 pounds (about 4 cups) of 6-12-12 or 5-10-10 or 0.75 pounds (about 2 cups) of 15-15-15 or 10-10-10 per 10 feet of row (4 in width). Soil test every 3rd fall season.
  2. At establishment in the fall, and then each year when first blooms appear, evenly spread 75 pounds (about 2 cups) of 6-12-12 or 5-10-10 or 0.40 pounds (about 1 cup) of 15-15-15 or 10-10-10 per 10 feet of row (4 ft. in width). Soil test every 3rd fall season.
  3. Each year when first blooms appear, evenly spread 1 pound (about 1/4 cup) of ammonium nitrate (34-0-0) or similar per 10 ft. of row (4 ft. in width).
